Katie is an accomplished design strategist, educator and social innovator specialising in social design and systems change. For the last six years, she has been immersed in the field of social innovation, both internationally and locally. She has worked for not-for-profits, social enterprises and local government. Katie uses her background in facilitation, strategic design and resource development to find the most useful tools and design processes to create meaningful change in areas like homelessness and poverty alleviation. Katie is passionate about developing a strong ecosystem to foster social impact. She aspires to empower people to create positive social change.

  • Helped a large insurance company embed human-centred design into its innovation approach.
  • Convened a movement among community organisations, government, the Property Council and the Western Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to end homelessness.
